I Get internet from a friend and the library.
HI friends
I have been trying to work on my crashed dhard rive that wont boot.
Giving me error : Volume in drive c has no label. from the dos prompt of
the w7 install disk.
I run scandisk and find no bad sectors.
I use Hirem's 15.1 and try MBR fix
the 1ist choice gives me error missing file <windows root>
\system32\hal.dll file missing please re copy a new file.
I don't know where to copy a fresh file from?
That seems to be the first of about a dozen individual mbr fix choices
i need to go thru.
Is there an easy way to just fix this error problem with another
process or utility .?
Can anyone help?
