Hello,

Greetings.

My question is about different RAM speed after new RAM installation.

There are 2 RAM slots in my laptop. In one slot, I had 1 GB and in another 2 GB RAM stick.

I have added new RAM and replaced 1 GB by 4 GB. 2 GB still there in 2nd slot.

I want to ask if this upgrade is OK for my laptop because I'm seeing different RAM speed and Voltage in CPU-Z which was not the case earlier.

Previous Installed RAM's are 1 GB and 2 GB. CPU-Z screen link is: Previous screenshot

Currently Installed RAM's are 4 GB and 2 GB. CPU-Z screen link is: Current screenshot

Can anyone please help and guide me if my RAM upgrade is good for my laptop or is there anything else I need to do to optimize it.

Thank You.

Neither of those is really telling you anything but the data in the SPD of the sticks, to find what your system is running at (and whether it's optimal" (since this tells you nothing, conrary to the above, look in the Memory tab to see what the DRAM is actually running at
