I'm new at the whole pc gaming thing and was wondering how well this pc would work. I have all the necessary parts picked out. I'm not looking for major top of the line performance. However I would like to know how the pc I have built would do with newer games (bf4, watch dogs, ac4, etc.) also if parts are compatible. I'm not looking to spend over a thousand dollars more like 600 to 700 dollars

Looks pretty good to me
Should be able to play most games at high to medium at 1080p with a solid frame rate
I would suggest a bigger hard drive though as 500gb isnt very big or maybe an ssd for the quick loading times as well as the 500gb hard drive
And unless you need it I wouldnt get the cd drive I havnt used one in ages though you will need a usb or external way of installing your operating system

Also I see you dont have a computer case in your list, don't forget a fan or 2 and maybe an aftermarket cpu cooler
Feel free to ask any questions
Cheers
