What is the better build and futureproof out of these two builds?

OR

The 2nd build is 50$ cheaper where I live, but which one is best?

The second. Since the only thing to really upgrade on either Behemoths would be the CPU and the z97 supports future broadwell. and the 780 ti is better than the 290.

EDIT: Also if you dont have a seperate HDD for storage your gonna need it an OS will take half of your SSD alone. Shell out the extra $50 you save for a Seagate Barracuda 1TB http://pcpartpicker.com/part/seagate-internal-hard-drive-st1000dm003

Second build.

Try better power supplies eg Corsair AX 1200 or Seasonic 850 or Antec HCG 850M

Try better motherboards eg Asys Maximus Hero or ASRock Z97 Extreme 4

You won't need a H100 to cool an i5.

You'll also need a HDD
