Hello,

Just bought a new video(Gtx 750ti) card and a new motherboard.(H77M)
My monitor is now plugged in to the video card via PCI-E.
My question is, what is the difference of having it plugged into the video card reather then the motherboard. How will that difference the graphics or visual performance.

Thank you.

Solution
It's pretty simple. If you plug your monitor into the motherboard you bypass the graphics card and will not get any of the performance from the GPU, you might as well not buy the card. So make sure you keep your monitor plugged into the GPU and not the motherboard.
