I need help with my PC randomly restarting. causing alot of frustration and confusion.I have been having a problem with my computer shutting down randomly while gaming. I just upgraded my graphics card but it was running my games fine on high graphics for a couple days before i decided playing watch dogs on it. It is a evga gtx760 and it restarted for the first time while playing watch dogs. At first I thought it was not that big then it restarted again and I decided to leave it for a while and come back.

I thought it might fix itself but now I'm having to turn down my graphics and its
still restarting. At first I thought it was a heating problem so i monitored it and bought some new fans but that hasn't fixed it. Anybody got an answer? I have been reading some of the threads but they don't seem to help. I'll include my specs also:

Model: Asus M51ac

System type: 64-bit

GPU: geforce gtx 760

CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4770 CPU @ 3.40GHz

Memory: 16.00 GB RAM

Operating system: Microsoft Windows 8.1

Unless you installed a new power supply, that power supply is your issue. I looked at the specs of that computer and it says "350W Peak" and also "500W." Either way, never, ever use an OEM power supply once you install a GPU. Do yourself a favor and buy a quality PSU.

I had a similar problem and it ended up being a loose cord on my 20+4 pin connector to mobo. I'm not saying thats the problem, but it could be some sort of loose cords in your system. Check to make sure all your cords are plugged in all the way. Let me know if that fixed it.
