So my recently built system is crashing but only for certain games. I get nothing other than a black screen and keyboard powers down. This is leading me to believe my graphics card or PSU. Essentially what happens is that during loading screens everything goes completely black and I have to reset by switching off my power supply switch.

So far this is happening with Far Cry 3 during loading map or during cinematic scene. Also with Skyrim during fast travel. Crysis 1 will not boot at all without a black screen but PC does not completely shut off like other games.

Specs are

AMD 6300
GTX 660
2x2gb DDR3 1600 RAM
Gigabyte 990x UD5
Samsung EVO 120
Two WD 250 7200
OCZ PSU 600W

I will say my PSU is at least 4 years old.

That is what I thought. My CPU is between 17c and 32c on Average. So could be my memory? Thank you for helping me btw. Just built my new PC and seems to run worse than my 6 year old one.

Yea the ram is a Corsair DDR3 1600 2x2gb. Running Windows 32 Ultimate. SSD is my install. I just looked back at my newegg purchase for my PS and I guess I got it in 07. Wow. I wonder if it can still keep up.
