Hot glue safe for use on PCB's?

My younger brother accidently scratched his motherboard on the backside, and now the copper paths are very lightly uncovered. Would it be safe to cover the damage with a hot glue gun?

Yeah the board works fine. I just like to take extra safety pre-cautions.

There's a really tiny crack on the back of my new motherboard too, but I'm not too worried about it. By the way, the hot glue won't melt when it gets hot in the chassis right?

I wouldn't use the low-temp glue, but if your board gets hot enough to melt hot-melt adhesive, you've got bigger concerns than melting glue, lol. An easier solution is to just paint it with super-glue. It's not conductive either and is simpler to apply.
