Hey guys, I'm ordering a PC from Cyberpower through Costco, and the processor I am going to get (AMD-FX 8350 3.5 GHZ) is 50 dollars cheaper than the almost exact same just .5 ghz faster. Now I have heard in order to overclock, you need a aftermarket CPU cooler, but on that website they only have liquid cooling available. I have heard that liquid cooling is not safe to ship so I am confused on what to do.

what they probaly will do is, if its a custom loop leave it empty and have you fill it once you get it, if its a closed loop cooler its fine to ship \. which PC did you order

then your fine how do you think they ship out other closed loop coolers, you'll be good they will probably stuff the inside of the case also with something to keep everything together better, and why dont you just build your own?

These are PC Specs:
AMD FX-8320 3.5 GHZ 8 Core AM3 (Plan to overclock to around 4.0, 4.2)
Asetek 120mm liquid cooler
8 GB Corsair RAM
Radeon R9 270X 2GB GDDR5
600 Watts Corsair Bronze plus

By the way, this is a Costco special thing coming from cyberpower, and I've heard bad things about cyberpower but seeing as it is costco, I am fine taking the risk.

For AMD ....Crosshair V or go home! :p  Sabertooth is OK..
As far as cooling goes..I run a bong cooler..You can make one yourself..
You really should build your own PC..
otherwise..You could get this cooler and slap it on there: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/ite...

Cyberpower sent my LC filled. I then removed it and put in a good Air cooling system as air is more efficient than liquid as there are fewer parts and no liquid that can possibly leak out. Both systems use a fan to disapate the heat anyways and with LC you have a lot of tubes blocking airflow around the other components in the case and some of the tubes have heated liquid which will release some of their heat into the airflow.
You are better off getting a case that will hold the components in a vertical orientation and use a lot of air moving from bottom to top. One with air intake filters is also recommended like this one:http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008J0ZOF4/ref=oh_aui_...

Then you can use a good air cooler like this one http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005O65JXI/ref=oh_aui_...
With this one you can even add a second fan to force more efficient cooling.
This will also keep the air moving and accelerating from bottom to top and improve the whole case temperatures.
and avoid the troubles of keeping the liquid filled, possible leaks and tubes that block and heat the airflow in the case.

yeah..cause Hyper 212 is the epitome of good air cooling
The cooler I linked is better, along with a host of others:
Prolimatech Megahelms,Corsair A10,Enermax ts140..TRUE, Silver Arrow..all better.
