Hi guys,

I needed some help with overclocking my secondary build. This is a budget build for some of my light gaming.

Specs:
AMD FX-8350
CM Seidon 120M (Not the best AiO on earth for overclocking but I'm on a very tight budget)
Asus M5A97 R2.0 (Budget board, not optimal for overclocking again I'm on a budget for this build)
CM Silent Pro 620W PSU (CM doesn't produce good PSUs but the Silent Pro is pretty, silent I guess...)

What voltage should I set my FX at for 4.5 GHz? I can't seem to get a stable clock when running the Mobo on auto and always face the BSOD "whea uncorrectable error" and putting the voltage somewhere around 1.47 just hangs my entire PC, even the reset button doesn't do the job.

Thanks :)

Solution
Every chip is different and not all are going to overclock the same.
You should find the max stable oc on stock voltages first and move on from there.
Make sure you have turbo and power saving features disabled while oc'ing (I've never personally seen a reason to disable power saving features but that's what most people recommend doing).
