PC Won't Display On Monitor

I'm not sure where my question is supposed to go in the Forums, but I'll assume it's a motherboard issue.

Specs are as follows:

Intel Core i5 4690K
EVGA GeForce GTX 660
ASUS Z97-A motherboard
1 TB HDD
2 x 4GB GSKILL Ripjaws RAM
CM Storm Stryker PC Case
Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO CPU fan
Corsair CX500M 500 Watt PSU

I'm building a gaming PC for my friend, and I am at his house right now. I've put all the components together and assembled the PC, as well as plug everything in, but the PC won't manage to display on the monitor (using HDMI cable plugged into motherboard; also tried plugging into graphics card) as if the monitor is not picking up any signal from the motherboard.

The very first time I turned on the PC all the fans were whirring, but I noticed that the LED below MemOK was RED and it would not display on the monitor.

I unplugged and re-plugged all the cables again a second time, but this time the fans would momentarily work for a split second then stop working another split second and repeat the same process.

I am now primarily having issues with getting the PC to boot up properly while the secondary issue is getting the PC to display on the monitor.

Any ideas as to what is wrong with it? Fast responses are appreciated :)

Hold the MemOk button until the LED starts flashing, also, hook into the monitor from the Graphics card with a DVI or VGA cable rather than HDMI (if possible). Or, unplug the GPU and try running off the motherboard

Hi

Sounds like the memory may not be in properly. They do take a little pressure to fit, the motherboard latches on the side of the memory slots will fasten into the notches on the memory when installed correctly;

Apologies for double posting but I also want to let you guys know that the DRAM LED next to MemOK is NOT lighting up at all :(

I forgot to mention that my PSU is a Corsair CX500M (500 Watt PSU). I'm not sure if it's a power issue, but I haven't even inserted the graphics card when I turned on the PC.

I watched the whole thing.. never seen that before. I see no error LED's on the motherboard so the components seem ok. Once more, make sure the RAM clips into the socket correctly and the locks stick into the notches on the RAM. If it's not that, i'm thinking either a bad power supply or motherboard.

Just some things from the manual i've quoted, possibly may help.

Memory
The DRAM_LED also lights up when the DIMM is not properly installed. Turn off the
system and reinstall the DIMM before using the MemOK! function.

During the tuning process, the system loads and tests failsafe memory settings. It takes about 30 seconds for the system to test one set of failsafe settings. If the test fails, the system reboots and test the next set of failsafe settings. The blinking speed of the DRAM_LED increases, indicating different test processes.

TPU
When the TPU switch is set to Enabled (TPU_II: CPU BCLK and Ratio Boost), the system automatically adjusts the base clock rate (BLCK) and the CPU ratio for a more enhanced performance.

Not sure what TPU might do or if it would help at all, but in conjunction with Memok or faulty memory, seeing there's an led on in the area of the TPU switch in the video, appears to be activated. Try disabling it until you get your memory sorted before using this performance enhancement option.

Check also you haven't incidentally bent any cpu pins and as mentioned possibly bad mobo/psu, could be ram/cpu as well.
