I am trying to hook up 3 monitors but having trouble getting a display on all 3 at the same time.
My graphics card is an XFX Radeon HD 7850
My graphics card has 2 DVI ports, 1 HDMI port, and 2 miniDisplay ports. I am trying to connect 2 monitors and my TV. Both monitors have DVI cables and the TV has HDMI. I read around the forums and just bought an Active mini DisplayPort to single-link DVI adapter to see if it would work.
I've tried connecting DVI>DVI, HDMI>HDMI, and DVI>Active adapter>miniDP. I can only get display on 2/3 monitors no matter what configuration of ports I use. Is there something I am missing? Does it matter if one of my DVI cables is single link and the other is dual link even if the single link DVI is being used with the adapter?
