I recently bought an EVGA GTX 760 that is SC with ACX cooling. I have heard it runs underload at 72-80c. I am quite worried this will shorten the lifespan of it. While msi i have heard runs it at 65-72c I also wanted to know which brand is better. MSI or EVGA?

My Specs:
Case: Rosewillblackhawk ATX Midtower
CPU:Intel Core i5 3570k
GPU:EVGA SC w/ACX Cooling GTX 760
MoBo:Asus p8z77 v lk
PSU:XFX 650 80+ Gold
HDD:1TB Western Digital Caviar Blue 7200 RPM
Optical Drive: Standard ASUS Optical drive

More about : lifespan evga acx gtx 760

eh, both should last atleast 3-4 years, but the msi one, if it runs 8c cooler, will have more overclocking headroom.

It wont last at least 5 years? I would love it if it would last at LEAST 5.

Eh, EVGA is warranty of 3 years. But, is it normal for the card to run at 72-80c under full load?

Ive also heard people can get the EVGA running at 65c under full load. Just by re applying the thermal paste with arctic 4

you can try that, but 65c is very optimistic.
