Today, I got a replacement screen for my hp pavillion 1b60us laptop. I replaced the screen and made sure all cables were connected properly, but when I turn on my laptop the screen is black. I have had it hooked up to an external monitor for the past 6 months and my computer has been working fine. I know the problem is not the inverter board because when I plug in my old broken LCD screen, it lights up and works perfectly (except for the fact that it it cracked) does anyone know any solutions to my problem? I bought the replacement screen off of eBay and it is an off brand LCD screen, but the listing said it was compatible with my model. I don't understand why it is not working.
