Please review my new PC!

If it's for gaming, you could save on a lot of stuff and probably cut the costs by ~500$ at least.

If this is for rendering and video editing, you'd be fine. Criticisms would be that the PSU is more than what you need by quite a big margin. You could just go with a good 650w if you want to lower the price on that part.

To me, this seems like overkill. If money is no object, then this is a great build. If budget is an issue, there's a lot that can be done to reduce price and maintain almost the exact same level of performance.

You don't need a liquid CPU cooler unless you're doing some serious overclocking. And with your current case, you'd be fine even sticking with stock fans. The motherboard you've selected has some really cool features, but is not necessary. you could get something for as low as $60 or $70, and it would function just as well, but without all the flashy features. I'm not sure why you have a 1000W Platinum power supply. You could get by with as little as 700W, and maybe even a little under that, and gold is plenty efficient. To me, Windows 8 Pro is not worth the extra ~$40.

Again, if you have money flowing out of your pockets, then by all means, go ahead. But if you need to cut options, those that I listed could get the build down to around $1500.

There are those who heavily use their systems and need all the power, I know I use mine and often have clients, friends and family on my systems I'm not using at the time - and even then there's times I head over to my neighbor's who has a pair of 2011 rigs that are really loaded up when I need a more powerful system then what I have

Fair point. It's difficult to judge the purpose of the build, though, as the user simply said "Please review it!" If he needs this kind of computing power, then yes, it's a solid build. However, if he's just trying to game or do low-scale video editing, it seems excessive, and he could save a lot of money.
