I bought a Triton AX 180 Headset from Gamestop about 6 months ago and everything worked perfectly. I used my headset for Xbox 360, PS3, and PS4 but now I use it for My PC. I always use the USB instead of the audio cable and I never had a problem with it until i got this new computer. I had a Samsung Windows 8.1 Laptop and the mic worked perfectly. But I recently got a Windows 7 Desktop Computer and about 2 days into using the computer, I started to hear a faint static sound in the Triton AX 180 Headsets. I can still talk with them and hear things perfectly but that static noise gets really bothersome. It occurs immediately upon starting the computer. It makes the sound 24/7 even on a quiet desktop with nothing running. Of course i can't hear it during games because it is so faint but Whenever The sound isn't loud enough, you can hear it. I tried it in all of the 6 USB slots in the back and the 2 USB slots in the front. They both work perfectly but the only problem is, it makes a faint static sound. I tried plugging in the green audio cable into both of the audio slots on the computer with and with out the UBS plugged in but it didn't go away. With only the audio cable plugged in, the headset didn't get power so nothing worked :p . I tried plugging in the USB into a Wall Power USB Charger and the audio cable in both slots but that didn't work but that didn't work. I decided to plug it back into my old samsung and it doesnt make that sound. Please help me!
