Whenever I install the latest drivers for my graphics card the restart required always ends up in a black screen right after "Starting Windows" splash screen. Please Help!

I would try installing the older versions of the AMD drivers. 14.4 seems to have quite a few problems in my opinion.

If I install it again it still refuses to boot. Right now I system restored back to where I didn't install the driver, so I have no gpu drivers at all.

I'm trying this, 13.12 is the most recent other than the latest I can find. Would this still be compatible with most games?

What are the specs (list of all components, make and model) for this system? What version of Windows and is it up to date?

Make/model of motherboard?

Your PSU should be fine. Are you attempting to overclock anything (CPU, GPU, memory)?

ASUS M5A97 R2.0 Motherboard. It's compatible with everything on my build for sure. I recently reinstalled windows and this issue has only been happening since the reinstall, before everything worked fine until my hard drive broke.
