Sapphire Dual-X 100365L R9 270 cannot run 3 monitors

I got the sapphire dual-x R9 270. I cannot get all 3 monitors going @ the same time. When I have all 3 monitors hook up, one of the monitors with DVI connection will not work. As soon as I unhook the HDMI connection, the 2 monitors with DVI connection work fine. Both window 7 and AMD Catalyst Control Center detect the 3rd monitors but I cannot add it. Does anyone know what is wrong? According to sapphire, this GPU supports 3 monitors w/o displayport connection and 4 monitors with displayport connection. Here is the link

Updated...I contacted sapphire tech and they said I need to use the displayport output unless all 3 monitors are the same make and model, that how the bios is written. So I bought an active displayport hdmi adapter and it works. Only ACTIVE displayport adapter works, PASSIVE adapter doesnt work
