So Yesterday i built a pc. The Components are: Motherboard MSI A78m-E35, CPU AMD Athlon II x4 760k, GPU AMD Radeon HD 7750, RAM Corsair Value Select 1x8gb, hard drive WD Green 2tb, PSU XFX 550w. So I installed everything in the case and tried to turn the PC on, But nothing happened. Every 2nd or 3rd time I'd press the power button all the fans would start working for a second or two. After hours of removing Components and putting them back, I decided to reseat the CPU Fan. And it worked. PC booted up, I started Windows 7 installation(usb drive). But when PC had to Restart for the first time, it just Shut off. I couldn't turn it on anymore. Then after reseating the Fan AGAIN it booted, But this time it Shut off before i even started the installation, like 5-6 minutes after booting. Guys please help!!!

EDIT: I started the PC, it goes into BIOS then it goes to sleep mode evefy 20 seconds. The CPU temperature raised from 37 to 52 in 4 minutes. After 5 or 6 minutes it just Shut off.

Edit: I applied. new thermal paste and now PC doesn't.even start

I think the PSU is the best part of the spec... :)

Try to boot it up again( somehow) and go to the bios. Monitor your cou temperature there. If it runs too hot. It will shut down by itself. Reseat the cpu and fan and chack again. Thermal paste applied correctly?

Yesterday when I entered BIOS the temperature was around 50 degrees(Celzius). Since I reseated the CPU Fan a few times, the paste is kind of... A bit ruined. Should i try removing the paste, buy a new one and apply it?

If you buy a new one, get IC diamond thermal paste if you can. But I'd rather would get arctic silver thermal paste.
