I've googled this subject like crazy but I cant find anything so here I am. I am an avid gamer and I do maya, MARI, unity and photoshop a lot as well. I want the best of both worlds without having to buy two systems just because of the GPU. So, is it possible to use a GTX 780 Ti and a Quadro K4000 on the same pc without switching the GPUs out every time? I know I cant do SLI but is it possible to just switch the cables every time I wanna switch between working and gaming? Or better yet can i plug one monitor into the 780 and one into the K4000? If the only way is to switch out the GPUs every time then can I switch them without turning the PC off?

Solution
The 780Ti would be recommend for games and video or photo editing.

Titan is used for testing games and has specifications really similar to what a Quadro GPU would have.

If you want to play games and do video or photo editing. Then the Tinwould be the best choice.

Maybe wait for the 800 Series, predicted to be released during October or later if delayed. ;) It is rumoured to perform at least 20% better and cost the same when the 700 Series was released.

Hope this helps.
