Will my PSU (OCZ SXS2) support R9 280?

Hello, I want to buy a new graphic card and after long search I decided on r9 280 (x version is out of my budget). I've been wondering between Sapphire Dual-X and Gigabyte Windforce, however;

Gigabyte WindForce 3X lists its requirements as 600watt and 42 Amps.
Sapphire Dual-X and many others list only 500watt.

Besides the fact that I can't find the required Amp ratings for the Sapphire, I am still not sure how Amps on rails are supposed to be calculated.

My PSU is OCZ Stealth X Stream 2 (600 watt), the same as here:

Is my PSU enough to run any of these cards?

Will it be enough for the Gigabyte's requirement of 600w 42 Amps?

Also, could any of you explain how to calculate Amps on multiple rails?
Looking through similar threads someone said to add the amps of the 4 rails together, assume they're working at 80% and substract a little, which would give me something around 50 Amps, is that correct?
One of the 12V rails is connected to CPU, one is empty and the other two on the GPU.
