Hi guys. I'm currently overclocking my CPU to 4.4GHz on 1.19V. And I'm using air cooling on CM Hyper 212+. My temps spiked at 82 degrees. And average temp at 65-70 degrees. Using Blend mode on Prime95. Is everything okay? So far there has been no crashes.

What is the temp normally for my settings if my temp is hitting too high?
FYI, I applied thermal paste and my heatsink is seated properly. Will check again.

Anything above 80C is definitely too high in my book. How high a temperature you're willing to go to is obviously up to you, but I personally like to keep it below 70C.

If you're using Prime95 for testing, make sure you run the Small FFTs test. This will push the cores to their absolute maximum, whereas the Blend test won't.

What is your ambient temperature? It makes a big difference in air cooling also right? When I stress tested it, my room temperature was 27 degrees.
