Hi everyone, new to the site so I thought i'd make it as quick as I could.

Recently purchased a Z97 motherboard and i5 - 4690k (along with ram), was having (seemingly) no issues until I started to play games. It runs well until I get it in a game, then the audio starts to get extremely choppy and warped, and after a minute or two, stops completely until the video starts hang and everything slows to about a single frame a minute.

I originally thought this was either a ram issue or GPU problem, but I ran memtest86+ for roughly 8 hours with no errors. I put the RAM, HD, and the GPU in an older computer, ran all the same tests and games and had no issues whatsoever. Ive tried reinstalling the OS on the HD with the new motherboard as well, to no avail. I also ran Aida64 for roughly 2 hours with no issues. My load temps average at about 65c and never go above 70c, and I updated my bios through Gigabytes App Center.

Am I missing something significant here, or is it possible I got a faulty motherboard or cpu? Any help would be appreciated.

Gigabyte Z97N - WIFI
Corsair Vengeance LP 2X4 GB
EVGA GeForce GTX 660ti SC
Noctua NH-C14
EVGA Hadron Air Case + 500 80 Plus Gold PSU
WD Blue 750GB 7200RPM HD

Bump, anyone have any ideas? This is baffling me.

One thing I do notice is that when I open the bios, it seems that the CPU Core Frequency is always at the turbo boost frequency. Not sure if this is relevant or not.
