Youtube Videos Taking Forever to Load on Win8

last week i started realizing that videos on YouTube (only YouTube) take two to three minutes to load, sometimes it just gives me "an error has occured" message. Even small 10 or 30 second videos take that long. I was thinking it was my ISP but i can load videos just fine on my iphone and my laptop that runs windows 7. You would think my i7 and 770 would be able to load videos fater than my iphone 5. I'm using google chrome but i've tried firefox and ie and they all do the same thing. I've updated flash, cleared cookies and all that and still no dice. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

You know what, I had the same thing on opera and firefox. But to be honest I had the same problem on opera and firefox for mac. I suspect it might be youtube itself.

When it takes too long to load, I just press refresh on the page and it seems to work.

i've tried that but it seems to be every video, it's come to the point to where i don't even want to watch youtube links sent to me by friends since i know it'll take so long to load. I'm thinking it's something on youtube's side as well, hopefully they fix it soon. I can load up videos from facebook and tumblr just fine, it's just youtube that seems to have trouble.
