Before i downloaded the drivers for my graphics card i had 1440x900 but when i downloaded and installed them drivers(updated and everything) the resolution went away and i have no clue what to do
If anyone can help or had the same problem please tell me how to fix it Thanks

Update:
These are the DRIVERS for your monitor. They simply tell Windows its basic specs such as resolution, refersh etc. Unlike DIGITAL inputs you need to manually install drivers if you use VGA.

If your monitor reads "generic" before applying it should read the correct name now, and also display ONLY the options it supports for refresh rate and resolution.
1) What do you mean it "went away"? When you right-click the desktop and choose "resolution" is it not an option?

2) Is the monitor listed as "generic" or does it show the name of the monitor?
(Don't think this should matter)

3) Is your refresh set to 60Hz?
(probably under the "advanced" settings for resolution)

4) If you DELETE the current NVidia drivers and try to change the resolution again do you see "1440x900" now?

5) Did you install version 340.52 of the drivers?

*If you still have issues, then DELETE the NVidia drivers and install the latest. Optionally look for a "driver cleaner" utility and/or try OLDER versions of the drivers.
