Hi,

on a Samsung laptop it's a couple days I get frequent freezes, like 10-20 seconds freeze, then able to use for other 10-20 seconds, and so on (didn't actually time it, but pretty close).

I checked in task manager, and "system interrupts is" is the one using most cpu (peaks of 50-52%, average around 30%).

Things I did before the issue:
installed Seagull Bartender, TSC printer (usb port), and plugged a barcode scanner (usb port).

At the time (of the issue) printer, and scanner are NOT plugged in.

Thank you

Hi,

please have a look at this (old) article (http://www.msfn.org/board/topic/140263-how-to-get-the-cause-of-high-cpu-usage-by-dpc-interrupt/) which has some tips and links to hardware tools that can help you identify the cause of the high system interrupts.

Hope it helps

Thank you, I'll try to see if I can follow the steps.

As I am writing this, it seems laptop is working correctly, which akes me think of either the printer, or the scanner.
