thanks for the quick response.

i wanted the ssd for the quicker load times on just the os and a few games, but ill add it later. which ssd would you suggest?

The Samsung 840 EVO or Pro versions are some of the best currently out there.
There`s another from Seasonic, the M12II type.

You will find different sizes for these, just get the one you can afford and suits your needs.

any way to cut the price down a little bit more? my check is for $1050 hehe

maybe a lesser video card? i only play a few video games and dont mind the settings on low

I`d rather go with the below build, instead of lowering the performance from the GPU or CPU side.
What I did: removed CPU Cooler (you can add it later, the CPU is great and you don`t need to OC it to play the latest games), cheaper but still good RAM, cheaper case (can also be replaced cheaply later on), went for a different monitor, but still 24" 60 Hz.
