So I opened my case today to find a funny smell coming from my psu which is nearly new, I was wondering if it was just dust,just because if fairly new or if its more worse . I also had a look at my old power supply which died and the smell is similar but much stronger , I look inside the old power supply and a coil seemed to have broken and the stuff inside hade come out, and help or suggestions ?

What sort of smell? My PSU smells a little weird too but it doesn't seem like anything suspicious like smoke. I think you're all good.
