i have a10 7850k, 620w m12ii, gigabyte a88xmhd3, 8gb 2133 gskill,
i just got an HIS 280x (got it for a very good deal).

since ima noobie, i intalled the gpu right away, withouth uninstalling anything. turned it off then when i tried to turn it on it wont boot. googled abt why it wont boot, says "disable onboard graphics". i restarted my pc, got into bios and disabled the onboard.
the next thing i did was put the 280x back in, still wont boot. put it out, put it back in.

the pc wont boot with the 280x in. pc boots with the apu but with no display.

so my problems are:
1) how will i turn back my onboard graphics back on without the display?
2) once i get the onboard back up, how will i get my 280x to run?
PLEASE HELP!

Try to boot without GPU, use onboard graphics if the screen turns on again could be the video card. If it wont turn on could be the frequency(Mhz) of the RAM

I`m going to take it you bought your new graphics card from a shop or online, or ebay ect.
As a bit of help there are always a few things you should check when your fitting something like a 280x graphics card.

The first thing you should do is check what the power requirements of the new card are in watts and amps of the 12v power rail of your current PSU in the system.

If you PSU does not meet the requirements then it is the most common cause as to it not working.
Because you were using your on board graphics of your motherboard.
You must make sure that you have connected to the board the eight pin power block from the Psu, the block is black and located close to the cpu socket and back port output of the mobo.

You then need to check that you have connected the 12v Pci-e connectors from the Psu to the actual top edge of your graphics card.

When in the bios you must set the first graphics adapter display interface to Pci-e in the list order.
Then you can disable your on board.
Not forgetting to save the settings before exiting.

If you need to get the on board video back as default device simply reset the bios

Take out BIOS battery and leave it out for about 1 minute and than reinstall; see if it works

okay, it booted up nicely! thank you! i guess i havent took the battery out too long. you're right. and i also tried booting it up with just one ram. :)

now, my next problem is-well actually not a problem- a proper way of installing a new gpu. HIS 280x. because i really dont know how.

I'm afraid the BIOS could be the problem, you have to update BIOS first of all, you don't have to disable onboard graphic will switch automatically when the card is plugged in
