Wow...no one has mentioned that you're pairing an APU with a gtx780 which will bottleneck the GPU really badly.

If you want to be able to use more than 30% of the 780's power you'll need a better motherboard and CPU to pair it with.

Look into an ASUS, MSI, or gigabyte AM3+ MOTHERBOARD and an FX 8320.

The corsiar power supply's are cheap these days (made by channel well) some of their higher up units are made by flextronics or delta but I recommend and ANTEC, Seasonic, or XFX BRAND power supply unit (650-700w max). Antec and XFX are almost always made is seasonic foundries (superb quality). I'm a big fan of my antec high current gamer 620w . its made by seasonic and is priced well.

Also consider a small 60gb or 120gb solid...

First reaction -

Avoid that power supply. Please, please, please avoid it. Find something manufactured by Seasonic, FSP, or Zippy:

Monitor and hard drive seem fine. I would suggest a SSD for your C: drive if your budget allows.

If you NEVER want to upgrade the CPU / MB - get the OEM version of windows. Otherwise if an upgrade is possible, get the regular license.

The MB/CPU/Memory you will need to verify compatibility between the socket and the supported CPU/Memory on the MB. I am sure they are fine.

Not familiar with ADATA memory - been a corsair man for a long time. GSKILL is also widely appreciated.

MSI is not my favorite brand of MB - Would suggest ASUS if possible.

The case only has a single 120mm fan in and a 120mm fan out. This should be fine for the CPU - so long as you don't want to overclock. I would suggest a case that is 2 -120 in and 2 -120 out - but you seem to be looking for a smaller footprint on your case.

There will be others that come along and may have deeper insight into the MB/memory/CPU and GPU - but this is my first reaction.

UPDATE: Also - with the case and the card - verify the length of video card allowed in the case. You may not be able to fit the card into the case.

Also consider a small 60gb or 120gb solid state drive to install the operating system on and other important programs (Firefox, Photoshop, etc). It will make boot and load times instant. Launching an application installed on an solid state drive (ssd) is lightning fast.

Keep the terabyte traditional drive (HDD) for mass storage of media like movies and games .

--- SEE!!! - Someone with further insight into the CPU/MB/GPU details. You can always count on someone on Toms that will pay attention to these details. (Good Catch Beezy!!)

Always buy good branded PSU's. You can buy a Corsair CS650M/EVGA 650W superNova/SEasonic 620W or equiv.
Why pair a 7850K with a 780? Can't you find any 8350 within that price range? It's always good to do such a high end build with general CPU's and not APU's.

Thanks for all the replies. I've now come up with this build. Are there any further improvements I should make? As well as this, if all I want to do is play games on high/ultra settings with decent frame rates. Is the 780 a bit overkill?
Amd fx-8320
Asus M5A97 LE
Samsung 840 EVO 120gb SSD
Western Digital Caviar Blue 1tb Harddrive
Asus Geforce GTX 780
Nzxt Phantom 410 (some drive bays removed)
Corsair CX 600w
Thanks again

its better but i would still change the power supply brand to Antec, XFX, or Seasonic. If you can afford the non "LE" version of the M5A97 (like the M5A97 PRO 2.0), get it, its much better and will keep the CPU from getting throttled down by hot naked VRMs on the motherboard. If you have to get a cheaper SSD like PNY or Kingston at 60GB to make these changes do so, the difference isnt huge. Going from traditional drives to ANY solid state drive is a day and night comparison.

corsair doesnt manufacture PSU's they just brand them. The main players are Seasonic, Delta, FSP, Channel well and Flextronics come to mind. Those are manufacturers and some are their own branding label too.
