Will a GTX 660 Fit in a bitfenix prodigy

Solution

I think so yes, if I recall from the one I built about 16 months ago. It's tight in there. With a liquid cooler I could not also fit an optical drive.

Graphics cards up to 320mm in length.

Despite its small stature, Prodigy is engineered for maximum flexibility. Remove the top HDD cage to fit long graphics cards up to 320mm in length. Bolt a 240mm water cooling radiator in the top, or if the build demands it, remove the entire HDD cage and put the 240mm radiator in the front, while still being able to install up to five 2.5" drives. With multiple installation options, Prodigy is a small case that truly does it all.

As standard, the Prodigy is limited to graphics cards up to 180mm in length due to the middle drive cage. Thankfully, the drive cage is recessed enough to mean than if the top shroud of your graphics card extends a little beyond this, for instance with the Zotac GeForce GTX 660 Ti 2GB, the shroud will clear, but will overlap the drive cage, meaning you'll need to remove your graphics card to remove the cage. Removing the cage nets you a maximum of 320mm for graphics cards - not a bad compromise considering you'll still have room for a hard disk, SSD and a free 5.25in bay.

Some GTX660s will actually enable you to leave in the drive bay cage, but many (as well as a lot of graphics cards in general) will require the removal of the upper drive cage. I have a Gainward GTX660 which is 180mm long (over the 177mm pcpartpicker suggests) and it is possible to fit the upper cages with the card in position, however they do make contact with the card and block airflow so I removed them anyway as they were not required.

This isn't a big problem as even with the top cage removed you still have two 3.5" bays and mounting points for up to four 2.5" bays, which is more than sufficient for most builds.
