Hello there,

I noticed while playing bf4 that my frames sometimes drastically dropped. This seemed weird to me because I just bought a new video card, the msi gtx 770.
After some googling I realised that it the issue could be my psu. It is a Cooler Master Silent Pro 700W 85+.

If you think the psu is not the problem please tell me! ;)

Anyway, I have had this one for almost 3 years now and I think it is ready for a replacement. I stumbled across this thread: " http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-1804779/power-... ", but I have no idea which cpu I should choose. I was hoping that you guys could give me some advice on that matter since I would like to do this right. :)

I am aiming for high end gaming and I am planning on adding another gtx 770 in the future. I calculated my watt usage via a watt calculator :p  and the result was +/- 550W.

Thank you for reading!

Is there also a psu that is just as good only a little bit less pricey? :p
And thank you for the very clear response!

That's not pricey , that's a good price foe the best 850w PSU.

I paid $129.99 for it.
