Using Onboard + Video simutaneously?

Hi all!

I have been scouring forums forever, but can't seem to find any information about my particular set up.

I'm trying to get three monitors to run simutaneously by using my onboard and my video card together. I have two monitors connected to the video card, and one to the motherboard. I've tried a couple different methods I've seen in other forums and videos but so far none of them have worked for me. I'm wondering if its because my hardware is different (probably is why), and if so, does anyone know how to get it to work with my software, if it is possible at all?

Motherboard: ASRock H77M
Video card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650

Hi all,

Late update but I was able to make it work. After doing a ton of snooping around on forums I finally found this article:

http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/intelligent-systems/intel-embedded-media-and-graphics-driver/hybrid-multi-monitor-support-paper.html

It is a bit time consuming as you have to physically disassemble your PC for a bit, however, if you have the time to do it and you want the multiple monitors bad enough, it works like a charm! :)

Thank you all for your brainstorming and assistance with my issue!

As he said, you will run into problems, and I doubt he is using Intel by the way I see the video. Are you talking about like a GPU chip soldered to the motherboard or are you talking about an Intel APU?

It's integrated into the motherboard directly.

Not into the CPU? DIRECTLY into the motherboard?

Gah, no, I'm sorry, you're right. I think it's the Intel APU. I double checked my motherboard specs and it says:
Onboard Video: Supported only by CPU with integrated graphic

Sorry, this is my first time doing anything like this so I'm a bit fuzzy on what's what.

Same here, a bit fuzzy.... Now that I look into that graphics card... I don't know if it can support 2 or 3 monitors... lemme check..

I had a GTX 650 a while back, I wouldn't trust it to run 2 monitors, let alone 3 mate. And as far as I know, onboard and discrete graphics can only be utilised using an AMD Radeon GPU and AMD APU. I could be wrong though
