ocz 600mxsp with a r9 290 and 2500k, is it ok?

According to the above review your PSU meets the minimum required for that Graphics Card. To be absolutely safe, and to allow further upgradeability in your system, you may want to consider a 700w or higher PSU but you certainly shouldn't experience power outages or hardware throttling with your 600w unit - assuming you don't have many, many hard drives or a massive string of 20+ USB devices attached to your system.

R9 290 requires 31 Amps on the 12v rail & a 550W PSU minimum

OCZ600MXSP has a combined 12v rail of 504W/42 amps, so it has enough power.

Also note that it only has 1x 6-pin & 1x 6+2-pin PCI-E. Some 290's models require 2x 8-pin (6+2 pin).

if your going to be doing any heavy overclcoking, consider replacing it with a good quality 650W PSU. e.g
