My Laptop Runs Slow Sometimes - Need Help!

Many times, my computer runs slow. Other times it runs fine. For example, when I run a video, it skips a lot. Another exmample is when I move my mouse, it skips a lot too. I ran my antivirus program and malwarebytes and found no viruses. How can I isolate the program responsible for my slow computer?

Its a Gateway M210 with a speed of 1.3 Ghz, 1.5 GB Ram, 80 GB storage. It worked smoothly before. But all of a sudden, it skips. It's weird.

The reason why it's so slow is because it has a Pentium M which is a really really really old processor. There is nothing that can make your laptop faster, you have to buy a new one if you want stuff to run faster.

Come on, man.. Thats not the reason. This laptop has been smooth as silk all this time. And I even bought a new motherboard for it very recently. So, thats not it.
