I have a random freeze. The event log shows critical Kernel-power ID(41) Category(63). I am not sure if this is from the freeze or from hitting the reset button to get the computer to restart. I have tested the ram with memtest 3 passes 0 errors. I have ran seatools on the hard drive and showed everything is OK. Can this be the power supply? All the temps are in good rang too. I have done no overclocking. I would like to Overclock the CPU if I can get the freezing figured out.
Thanks You! If you can help in any way.

Computer Specs.
MOBO: Gigabyte 990fxa-UD3 Rev 4.0
CPU: AMD fx-8320
Memory: Kingston hyperX Black DDR3-1600 (2x4gb) 8GB
GPU: Gigabyte geforce gtx 760 4gb
HDD: WD blue 1TB
PSU: Raidmax rx 600af 600Watt

Its definitely the PSU. The PSU is Tier 5 here: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-1804779/power-supply-unit-tier-list.html,
which means it's a piece of shit and it needs to be replaced immediately.(Tier five - Replace IMMEDIATELY. These units are NOT recommended for any system, no matter the purpose. Reference to higher tiered models for a better and potentially money-saving unit)
The 760 Ti needs 500W minimum in order to work properly.I recommend buying a Tier One,Tier 2 class A or B PSU from the link given above.
You could go with the Seasonic M12 II 620W PSU.It's definitely a high quality PSU,it is reliable and you will get no freezing at all. Seasonic, along with XFX and Antec, makes some of the best PSUs.
But ofc,you can choose any PSU you want from Tier One,Tier Two Class A or B. Just make sure it's greater than 550W.
And lets hope than none of the components have been damaged by that PSU you have..
You can overclock on that motherboard, just make sure that you buy a good CPU Cooler, like a Hyper 212 EVO,and keep track of the temperatures of the 8320 (http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-1850418/gigabyte-990fxa-ud3-rev.html)

Thanks, Lukaboki
I will order me new psu and see how it dose. I just didn't think a psu would cause a freeze like that it runs in game with out a freeze and today was the first time it froze when i was playing. Now i know not cheap out one parts. Like you said I hope it didn't do any damage to the rest of my rig. I will give a up date when i get the other psu in and test it out.

Your welcome.
Maybe the PSU didnt cause the freeze, but I am 99,9999999999% sure it did because you have a high-end system and the worst PSU ever.:)
Also, make sure you clean your PC every 4-6 months from the dust that piles up. It just increases the temps of your CPU and GPU and if it overheats,it will automatically shut down. I am saying this from personal experience,I've had that problem..:p
You can PM me when you get the new PSU.And let me know what PSU you have ordered.:D
Make sure to choose a solution :)

So i got a new XFX Pro650W Core edition power supply. It seemed to be running good so I left it on for the night and it froze again.

Anyone have any other ideas for me?

I did notice on HWMontior my Vcore volts was dropping Low down to 0.0869. That is with both old and new PSU. Is this normal I had every thing on the stock setting when it did this. I just thought this was part of the power saving features on the mobo.
I have turned all power saving off now and have turned off the Turbo mode of too. I left the Vcore alone still at stock 1.325 volts. I went a head and put the cpu up to 4.0 ghz as this is what i wanted to do onse i fixed the frezzing. I ran prime95 blend test and my temps stayed lower then they ever did with all power saving stuff on and every thing else. Ran for an hour no problems Vcore stays around 1.296 Volts core temp never went above 47C.
I am going to see if that works.
Any help would be great and well appreciated.
