Thanks for replying. But I want to go for 19 or 20/21.5 inch monitor. I am from India and the prices here are 20 to 30 percent higher than in US stores like newegg. The monitor you suggested will cost me Rs 12000, making it 200$.

I want a monitor that has good colour output, crisp text display and wide viewing angles. My first preference is a 1080p monitor, with size not more than 22 inch.
I am willing to settle for 19 inch display even, if it has sharp, crisp display with good colours and native resolution of at least 1600x900. And my budget is max Rs 8000.
I apologise as I didn't make it clear before.

These monitors are good too. Thanks again. Well I have my eyes set on a 1080p monitor, so I kept searching. How about this one if I may ask

 I use headphones for gaming and music. I really like the Dell monitor that you suggested. 7ms response time isn't bad though. This post helped me clear the confusion regrading response times

I guess I will be buying Dell monitor then. Thanks for your help.

Many many thanks for your help. I went ahead and bought BenQ GL2250HM. And I am really happy with it. Its has the same feature set as BenQ GL2460HM except size which is 22 inch for GL2250HM. And it cost me Rs. 9100 (i.e 150 US Dollars).
