With (6) SATA III 6gb/s ports on my mobo (that supports RAID 0,1,5,10 would more SSDs attached create a bottle neck? Please answer for both with/without scenarios. Please forgive my attempt at this I think I am filling this out wrong.

    It may have a bottle neck issue. you need to look for the SATA control connection to ICH - I/O Controller Hub - to see how many lanes it connects.
    3.5" can do about 120MB/s, where SSD can be 500MB/s. Base on this you can see where is the bottle neck
