What GPU To Chose

For a new build that I am doing I am having trouble on what GPU to use, should I get the MSI Radeon R9 270X 2gb Hawk or the Sapphire Radeon 270X 4gb. This computer will be mainly used for gaming.

What is your power supply and what case do you have?

I've used that MSI 270X for a previous build and it's a great card, but Sapphire is the best manufacturer of AMD cards, in my opinion. The Sapphire would probably run a little cooler and quieter.

Both are great choices.

For such similar prices go for the 4gb version. It'll let you play at higher resolutions easier. Only thing is that I dont know clock speed of either but they should be pretty close to each other

Please don't get that PSU! It's terrible quality. Go with an XFX 600W, they are much better quality and shouldn't be too expensive.

4gb versions of the r9 270x are useless since they have a hard time using the full thing and plus its around the same price of a r9 280x which is stronger and can use it 3gb and maybe 4gb if they made a 4gb version.

a 500 watt psu would be enough for 270x so like said above cx are average psu and struggles at load....here is a good psu for u and i will say go for the gigabyte 270x...

its not really low end more like mid ranged it can do pretty good on bf4 with ultra and 60fps(as long as thiers a good cpu

actually the r9 270x is a upper midrange card r7 260x would be a midrange card and the low range would be r7 240..

none of the cx series is good try out evga they have good prices and qualilty with a 10yr warranty.

as mentioned before cx is not a good series for psu ......& xfx 550 will be good for u and its 60$ that's the cx 600 watt will cost u ...

That PSU is a little light,but it should be fine for either of those cards. I would go Sapphire, I have used 4 in previous builds and have not had a problem yet.

No worries! The EVGA 600W is your best option out of all of those PSUs.

Have you decided between the two 270X's?

the sapphire no doubt is best in my mind it has some of the best cooling(mainly the tri-x and vapor x(the best is the vapor x)

having more power is always better and since the evga psu has a nice warranty and same price i would go for it. thier also is a nice 750w for that price if you want

750w overkill but you wont have to replace if you get a high watt card(unless sli of cfx or a r9 295x2) also it has 10yr warranty so if you want to keep it for ten years then have it.

I recommend the EVGA PSU, and the Sapphire 270X.

If you can afford it, the EVGA G2 750W is overkill but an amazing PSU. It'll also give you the option of adding another 270X for Crossfire later on.
