The driver for this USB 3.0 card came on a CD which I no longer have. I'm struggling to believe that the vast swathes of the entity that is the internet does not contain this one tiny little driver somewhere! Please, people of the net, heed my plee. Does anybody out there have this driver??

Many thanks x

You could try this, if you have an Intel board. https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?DwnldID=19880
The Manufacturer site: http://www.renesas.com/products/tools/middleware_and_drivers/c_driver/usb_driver/

However the easiest thing to try is this free driver update: http://www.drivermax.com/ It has never failed to find the right driver for me and I have used it on at least five different systems. Driver Max will scan, download and install the driver with no fuss. The catch is the more drivers you try to download the longer the wait period in between the downloads. (Unless you buy the paid version) But I would try it, then the two link addresses above.

Usually you can. Unfortunately in this case you can't though. It doesn't find it automatically and it's not listed. I even tried downloading one of those automatic-driver-update programs (after making sure it wasn't a dodgy spyware thing) but that only seemed to update existing drivers rather than find drivers for unrecognised hardware.

I'm considering just buying a new card. They're only about £6 :)
