Mouse freeze while playing games and then it goes "dingdong" and comes back!

I am getting really frustrated with my mouse, it is a wired mouse and I have never had this problem.
last week I noticed that the mouse would just freeze while playing games and wouldn't work for about 5 seconds and then dingdong and its back.

I have no idea what is causing this, I have looked everywhere on the internet to try and find a solution but just cant seem to find anything.

please help!

Like I said it's probably some kind of short or disconnection in the wire and the ding-dong noise being made is when the mouse becomes able to be registered by the computer again. Do you know what mouse it is. If worst comes to worse try just using a generic cheap mouse and if the problem still exists it could take something more involved to fix

It actually makes a dingdong noise and then I can move the mouse again
