Issues updating to AMD 14.7 RC drivers

I ran the update without cleaning older drivers, since it doesn't seem required these days. But according to CC the drivers didn't update, and Raptr keeps telling me it hasn't updated.

I used Display Driver Uninstaller to remove any traces of AMD software, then ran the installer again, but it appears that the update didn't stick.

Not sure if it actually didn't update or CC/Raptr is misreporting.

According to CC:
Driver Packaging Version: 14.20.1004-140709a-173735E
Catalyst Version: 14.7
Direct3D Version: 9.14.10.01044
OpenGL Version: 6.14.10.12967

I'm running with an i7 and Windows 8.1 64-bit.

Yes that is normal. the 14.7 RC wasn't a huge update. it had to be 14.7 due to the date since it's released in July.
Essentially it is still the same 14.6 but with a newer driver version if i recall.
Raptr doesn't always have to be updated whenever there is a new driver.

Here is my version of my AMD CCC. Yes i know it says 14.6RC but it is 14.7 RC, it just an error when it was installing.
The date of the AMD Catalyst version proves it is 14.7 since it is released on that date.

Yup you got the newest version correctly installed basically someone at AMD forgot to change that string before releasing it to the public so it still said 14.6RC in the CCC although it should say 14.7RC oh well no big deal. I have the 14.7RC installed on my system and the information you gave is what shows in my system. I knew it installed correctly because driver package string was different and part of it holds the information about the date (140709a -> 2014/07/09)
