I have my PC running an amd hd 7750 connected to my element ELEFW264 TV via hdmi. The picture shows up, but the screen looks all grainy and weird. I used to use VGA with the same computer and TV and it was perfect, but i got a new monitor that needs the VGA port. I tried to fix this problem a while back but i couldnt seem to find out what the problem was. Any help is appreciated.

Hey man, try setting the resolution on the pc the same to the one on your TV. The scaling on the HDMI is picky compared to the VGA cable. Let me know how it goes.

Also see if there is a PC setting on the TV as some TV's try to improve image quality with the HDMI cable. See if there is a PC setting to turn that automatic quality adjusting off.

Both my TV and my PC are 1920x1080, and my computer is set to that resolution. The only options my TV gives me are the different ports, nothing specific to computers.

Do you have another TV to test if the problem still occurs?

Its not my computer, the problem has persisted through 2 graphics cards. I know its my TV, i just want to know if theres anything i can do. It only does it with my computer though, if i plug my xbox in using hdmi, or my dvd player.. It works just fine. Picture is great. I dont know what the problem is.
