I broke my headphone's green audio jack and half of it is still stuck in my computer. I just can't get it out. I gave up on that option and decided to move onto something else. I bought a new headset.

I still have 2 other headphone jacks (one back and one in the front) -

but when I plug in my new headphones, there's no sound.
I have downloaded Realtek Drivers but no luck. Whenever I plug my new headset into either jack

I get this, so it's connected right? Why is there no sound - or what am I doing wrong? Thanks

Well, they might say that. Also, make sure they don't try any drastic measures such as ripping apart the...
Try disabling the Realtek Digital Output.
It is also possible that the broken piece stuck in the jack is still getting priority for the sound; if so, until you get it out you won't be able to get sound from the other green speaker jacks.
An electronics shop/computer shop or electrical repair shop may be able to help. My son did the same thing and he finallyhad to go to USB sound.

Thank you. I thought that was why, but wasn't sure. I've tried everything to get it out, but it just won't. I'll take to a computer store, hope they don't say something obnoxious like get a new motherboard...

Disabling doesn't do anything.

Well, they might say that. Also, make sure they don't try any drastic measures such as ripping apart the connection portion of those ports. USB sound isn't bad at all, if you have to go there.
