My monitor.

Here is my monitor. Here is a list of the things I want to hook up to my monitor to play games.

  • ■Nintendo 64
    ■PS2
    ■Wii U
    ■Wii
    ■PC
What do I need to hook up my consoles to my monitor for me to play games?

Edit: This is solved. Solved. You cannot expect to buy an adapter and hope that it can magically work. If you want to play multiple consoles, you need a TV, period. I got myself a 40" TV and it plays most of my consoles, as well as my PC, just fine.

I may be wrong but I think video capture devices have 1-2 seconds of lag which would make playing most games almost impossible.

Sounds to me instead of spending $200 on an hd capture card you could prob upgrade your monitor to something with hdmi inputs.

Although I did not buy the monitor that you linked, I did buy a monitor that I thought was good. However, my consoles are expanding, as I have received consoles from other family members such as the Nintendo 64. As of now, I have the PS2, the Wii U, the Wii, the N64, and my own PC that I want to hook up to my monitor simultaneously to play. My uncle told me rumors of a sort of controller, where you plug everything into a box and you can switch off to which imput you want the screen to do. Is there something that can do this? Most of the consoles I want to connect are component, the Wii U and my PC is HDMI.

Here's the monitor that I thought was really good. No component connectors though, which is cool because I have an adaptor.

All right, I found a few things that might fit the bill:

From the looks of it, I should plug the yellow thing from the back of my consoles into the green port, and I plug the red and white things into the R and L ports respectively (I think...?). I will have to do a lot of switching around with which console I want to play, but that's fine. Would this be the solution?
