Continuous really high ping on all my games all of a sudden

A few days ago I noticed that my ping was a little high while I was playing but didn't think too much about it and figured it was because I've had my laptop running for a good 200+ hour. But the problem persisted even after I restarted my laptop multiple times and the ping has grown to near unplayable levels (ie: the ping is bordering around 300-800 ms atm). I've scanned my laptop with Avast, Spybot, and Malware Bytes but the problem isn't going away. I've tried resetting my modem a few times but that didn't help either. Would someone be as kind as to help me figure out why my internet is acting like this since I would love to be able to play my games again without such high ping.

You are getting these high ping from the game or you are seeing this on something like speedtest.net ??
Games ping time can be affected by many things since most times it is not actually running a real ping it is measures ingame delay between the client program and the server. It is actually a better test of how a game will perform but it also lies since it is affected by many other things than just network delays.

Your best bet is to run tracert to the game server and see if you can determine where the increase starts. If it is in the very first hop this indicates a issue inside your house, could be your PC or the router or some combination. further in the network indicates a issue either with your ISP connection to your house...

Hmm I just had the laptop fan replaced slightly over a month ago and I've used an air canister to clear out some of the dust like a week ago so it shouldn't be caused by that :x. But even if it was, I wouldn't know how to open up my Asus laptop for my life since I can't see any way to remove the bottom part of the laptop x.x.
