This is my first time to this Forum, so pardon me if my thread is placed in the wrong place.

For the past month or two i have been having issues with my USB Ports randomly Turning on and off.

Normally this wouldnt be a massive issue if i wasnt gaming, or my pc wasnt connected to the internet by a Netgear adapter.

here are my PC specs.
MoBo-Asus m5a78lmlx-plus
CPU-AMD FX4100 uad core(3.6ghz)
Ram-Team Vulcan 8GB(2x4)
Harddrive-WD 500gb 7200
GPU-AMD Radeon 7700 Series
PSU-Dont know the brand name, but its a 750w

I have done everything from configuring my USB Ports to not turn off when the pc goes to sleep, making sure that all of the drivers are working properly(none are malfunctioning) and making sure the drivers are updated.

My only thought now is that it might be my PSU? SInce its a 750w i wouldnt think its a power overload, but maybe its getting too hot? My pc has never gotten above 86 degrees F.

To explain the issues more in depth: I will be playing on my Computer and suddenly, i lose internet connection. When the ports go out i ALWAYS lose internet connection. However sometimes i lose connection to my Mouse, my External HD and my USB Headset adapter as well.

My internet doesnt reset automatically, i have to physically remove the adapter, and plug it back in, i also have to do the same with ALL of my USB devices when they go out.

Once i plug the devices back in, it could work for 2 mins, or it could work for 2 hours. theres not an exact interval between the outages.

I had a USB Xbox360 controller, Razer Naga Mouse AC6200(netgear adapter), DSP5500 Headset Adapter, and a My passport Ultra 2TB 7200rpm External hard drive attached to my USb ports.

Once i thought it was a PSU issue, i took everything off except for my AC6200 adapter, My mouse, and my Headset Adapter.

This has been driving my INSANE as i do alot of heavy gaming. If anyone has any ideas as to what is going on i will MORE than happily accept them.

I7Baby-I have made sure that all of the controllers are working properly. and here are the voltages

VCore-1.428V
3.3v-3.363V
5v-5-100
12v-12.259v

And SR-71, here is the make and model of the PSU
EPower Technology EP-600PM Power Supply 600W ATX12V 2.3 Single 120mm Cooling Fan Bare

Vcore is a bit high.Have you tried overclocking your cpu? Don't. Lower you Vcore by 0.03V

Your voltages are sort of OK. But the 12v reading is higher than I'd want. I think you should get a better quality power supply.
Depends on exactly which graphics card you got as to how many watts you need. What exact model is it?

Are you using a USB wifi adapter?

The PC is a custom built one that i bought as a barebones system off of ebay and then upgraded and modified. I thought i had a 75w PSU, but it indeed turns out that i have a 600w PSU.

How would i change the VCORE Voltage?

And im glad that it seems to be just a PSU issue, id rather not have to replace my motherboard. Do you guys have a prefered PSU that i could check into?

Thank you both for all of the help and information. Im normally a DIY type of guy, but this has been dumb founding me and ive tried everything. Haha.

And would a 450w PSU really be enough? Ive been encourage to not go lower than a 750w for gaming rigs. I do plan on getting another motherboard with 2 PCI-E x16 slots and 4 ram modules so that i can upgrade to two Liquidcooled AMD Radeon R9 290x's and 16 gb of ram(4x4).

Oh, and the GPU I have right now is Dedicated, not integrated.

I was thinking about going with a 900w PSU from XFX and spending a little extra now, rather than 60 now and 140 later.

Wow, thats not a bad price at all. Ill most definitely be looking into getting that one.

Whats with the Interface on the back being so different from the mesh netting powersupplies most people have?

I see it has CPU/Sata3 labels. Im guessing that its to allow only what you need and no more for easy cable management?

Thank you both for all of the information! Its been amazingly helpful, ive changed the power saving options on my PC and it seems to have been a bit helpful with my USB ports, ive yet to go back intot eh bios and change my VCore Voltage but i will be doing that here in a few mins.
