I cannot open my 1 tb wd my passport hard disk. it says raw. i tried http://www.rawfilesystem.com/ and installed I care data recovery and tried to recover. it showed
Partition 1.. file system NTFS.... Size 953.84 GB..... Suggestion 100%...... files match 0..... folder match 0.....
after this when i tried show files under 1 NTFS, folder of RAW files came but it contains only few pictures and documents.... I have had collected lot of movies in that hard drive...
can anyone help me please...?

Testdisk/Photorec is totally free and a good data recovery tool for retrieving files from a RAW drive provided that your drive has no physical defects. Of course you need another hard drive on where you could save the files you retrieve using the program.
