I am doing my best trying not to take a framing hammer to the card with how many hours I have spent reading the same "just pick up the SD card, and push the lock to unlocked position"

I have a micro SD card, used in a phone. It is full. I want to delete stuff. It is write protected. There are no switches on the card.
I have tried removing the card and inserting it into two different card readers, making sure to put the lock in the unlocked position. I also tried a bunch of bogus tricks like placing the lock in between lock and unlock, and taping the lock. I have also tried connecting the SD card through the phone to the computer via usb. None of this has enabled me to rewrite the SD card.
Please, for the love of computer components, help me!
