my freind is thinking of buying a prebuilt gaming pc for 1000$ but im trying to tell him to build one for 1000$ instead and it can be 10 times better can you recomend a pc build and what settings and FPS it might get on dayz and BF4.

How? I can see with the OS but adding a SSD I don't believe is worth it since you can get a lot more powerful GPU instead of a faster ssd. And B85 isn't that great.

well hench why i stated if he can up his budget a bit then he can get a better card, the 750ti performs great with bf4 and dayz, its a 1000 dollar budget, the ssd is a great addition that everyone should add. faster boot times and loading times equals less frustration.

anyways...the b85 is okay... i could have another go and still be under his budget and only change the board.

Sorry, I somehow missed it!
Wow, that is a perfect build! OP, I highly suggest you go with that one.
Mine was going to be nearly exactly the same. Well done. :D

Go with filippi's build. It will be perfect. Since you can spend an extra $100, I think you should go with an ASUS GTX 780 DirectCU II, or an EVGA Superclocked GTX 780 ACX. If you'd rather keep the extra $100, the Sapphire 290 Tri-X is also an amazing card. It's the best value 290 in fact, and it stays nice and cool and fairly quiet for a 290. :)

i was talking about 187Flatliner´s build mate. Anyway i5-4670k deserves a overclocking mobo like a Z97, don't you think?

But h97 is fine.
